Payments and merchant of record

Paid plans for Contextick (operated by Maverick Works) are sold and processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf.

Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.

Pro plan — 30-day refund, if unused

You can request a full refund of your most recent Pro payment when all of these are true:

If you have saved even one item during the period, the plan has been used and is not eligible for a refund. This mirrors how digital services are commonly handled: once you have started using the paid capacity, the current period is not refundable. Subsequent renewal payments are treated the same way — each is refundable only within 30 days and only if that period is unused.

How to request a refund

Open your account page and use “Request refund”. If eligible, the request is submitted to Paddle for review; once approved, your subscription ends, your refund is issued to your original payment method, and your account returns to the Free plan.

What happens to your data after a refund or cancellation

Whenever a paid plan ends — whether you cancel it, request a refund, or a payment can't be recovered — you return to the Free plan. If you have more than the Free plan allows at that point, everything you have saved is removed — not just the amount above the limit — so keep your own copy of anything you want to hold on to before then. If you are within the Free limit, everything stays. Resubscribing before the removal happens keeps everything.
